do NOT use a credit counceling service. That is basically chapter 13 bankruptcy…you just don’t go to court. Negotiate payoffs yourself.

i work in debt settlement. different from consolidation and CCC. Also, it doesn’t have as bad of an affect on your credit that these companies do. Be aware of consolidation and consumer credit counseling. There is alot that most companies wont tell you up front.
