I have been thinking about doing a credit card debt consolidation. has anyone done this? if so, how did impact your credit (in terms of how many points did it go down)? do you think it was worth it? It seems that most plans are two to three year plans and they can’t say how much your credit will go down. I am not sure how it works, because they say no one is making the minimum payment, so are they negotiating with cc companies? any help is much appreciated
